The Rock is without a doubt one of the most well known wrestlers of all time. Even though The Rock doesn’t make regular appearances on WWE programming nowadays he is still synonymous with WWE and it looks like that company will be acknowledging the anniversary of his debut soon.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that WWE is intending to honor The Rock’s 30th anniversary with the company this month by celebrating his Survivor Series debut in 1996.
A source noted that the company is expected to roll out several pieces of Rock themed merchandise, one of which will be a commemorative championship belt to highlight the anniversary. WWE is also expected to run social media campaigns celebrating 30 years of The Rock.
The Rock has not appeared on WWE programming since he participated in John Cena’s heel turn at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in March of 2025. At this point it’s not clear when he could be making his next appearance on WWE TV, but he did indicate during a recent interview that he is planning to return to WrestleMania at some point in the future.
Back in September, The Rock reacted to PAC’s passing when he posted a video that mentioned AEW. You can get more details on WWE’s reaction to the video here.
