The Rock has been one of the biggest stars in wrestling for decades now, and he’s had his fair share of WrestleMania moments. The Final Boss has not appeared on the Show of Shows since WrestleMania 40 back in 2024, but there’s been a lot of talk about his future recently as fans are wondering if he will ever return to the Grandest Stage of Them All.
During a recent appearance on The Morning Shift, one of the hosts noted that he always wanted to go to WrestleMania and see The Rock walk down the ramp. He then joked that The Rock should send him a text next time it’s going to happen.
The Final Boss then went on to indicate that he will be returning to WrestleMania at some point in the future, and he promised that the hosts of The Morning Shift will be his special guests.
“I’ll make the promise to you now, whenever I do go back to WrestleMania, I need to have you guys out. You’ll be my special guests for sure. One hundred percent.”
The Rock shared a WHOLESOME moment by surprising the hosts of The Morning Shift podcast, who are HUGE fans and proudly represent Polynesian culture, before promising them tickets to WrestleMania whenever he makes his RETURN to the ring ❤️🔥 pic.twitter.com/dQqzReTot9

WrestleMania 43 is set to emanate from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever in 2027. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding The Rock’s status for the event as it was recently reported that he is set to start filming the new Fast and Furious film in December. The filming schedule would seemingly make an appearance more likely than a match if The Rock chooses to be part of WrestleMania next year, but anything can happen between now and WrestleMania season.
It seems that The Rock is be keeping the door open for a future return, but only time will tell if he is interested in appearing at WrestleMania next year, or possibly another WrestleMania in the years to come.
Stay tuned for updates.
