There’s been a lot of movement throughout the year and a number of wrestlers have parted ways with the WWE following the expiration of their contracts. In recent weeks there’s been a lot of talk about Bayley’s status as it’s been reported that her contract with WWE is set to expire at some point this year.
Bayley has not appeared on WWE programming since Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th. During the show Bayley was defeated by Lyra Valkyria, and after the match she was seemingly written off TV when Lyra destroyed her. Even though Bayley hasn’t been appearing on television, she has been referenced on WWE programming.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that with all the mentions of Bayley on WWE TV this week, it pretty much says that the company believes it’s a lock that she will be signing a new deal.
If for some reason Bayley does not end up re-signing with WWE the expectation is that she would receive a substantial offer from All Elite Wrestling.
