Mercedes Mone made her All Elite Wrestling debut a few years ago and since then she’s become one of the top stars in the women’s division. Currently Mercedes has a target on her back as she’s the AEW Women’s Champion.
Marina Shafir is set to challenge Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s Championship at Full Gear later this month, and their rivalry has become heated in recent weeks.
The feud escalated once again this week on AEW Dynamite as Mercedes and Marina came face to face. After exchanging some verbal jabs, Mercedes hit Marina Shafir with the AEW Women’s Championship then put her in the Mone Maker before they were pulled apart.
After the show Marina Shafir cut a promo on Mercedes and she held nothing back.
“Mercedes, Miss CEO, you spoiled little s**t. Yeah, I don’t have the lights. I don’t have the money. I don’t have the production of an entire company telling the world how special I am. No, no, no. Because if I had any of that, I wouldn’t be the woman that I am today.
“But what do I know? I’m just Mox’s little b***h, you know? How about you ask Mox if I’m a little b***h. How about you ask Claudio. How about you ask Yuta, Daniel, Gabe. What do you think they’re gonna tell you? What they’re gonna tell you is I was the instigator. I was the motivator that helped a group change professional wrestling forever. But Mercedes, you’re no one’s little b***h, right? At Full Gear, I’m gonna make you cry like one.”
