We’re only a few weeks away from SummerSlam and the show will once again be a two night event this year. SummerSlam will air live from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the low ticket sales for the event have been a hot topic on social media. While fans have been discussing the ticket sales for the show online it seems that the topic has also been discussed at WWE HQ.
WrestleVotes is reporting that the lack of SummerSlam ticket sales has been a hot topic in Stamford over the past month or so. It was also noted that this isn’t a realization that came today as it’s been a concern internally for weeks.

WrestleTix recently reported that only 22,069 tickets have been sold for night 1 of SummerSlam and 23,809 tickets have been sold for night 2. For SummerSlam the stadium is set up for 29,535 seats, but the seating can be extended to accommodate up to 72,287 people.
Low ticket sales for WWE’s major events have been a topic throughout the year as the drop off in ticket sales from WrestleMania 41 to WrestleMania 42 was also heavily debated online just a few months ago. As of right now only four matches have been confirmed for the SummerSlam card, so it will be interesting to see if ticket sales pick up in the weeks to come.
SummerSlam will air live from US Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd. The current card for the event can be seen below.
