This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Birmingham, Alabama and the show featured two big Money in the Bank qualifying matches. Bron Breakker faced off against Ethan Page and Rey Mysterio in the first triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match of the night, and Breakker picked up the win when he pinned Rey Mysterio.
Later in the show, Lyra Valkyria, Maxxine Dupri and Sol Ruca faced off in another triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match. At one point Lyra hit Nightwing on Maxxine and it seemed like she had it won. However, Bayley appeared out of nowhere and pulled the referee out of the ring when Lyra tried to pin Maxxine.
Sol Ruca then followed up and hit the Sol Snatcher on Lyra Valkyria, then pinned her to pick upt he win and qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
After the match Sol Ruca celebrated while leaving as Bayley got in the ring and pummeled Lyra Valkyria with a series of elbow strikes followed by a running knee. On the outside, Bayley cleared off the announce table and seemingly tried to powerbomb Lyra through the table before Lyra managed to get away and leave through the crowd.
Prior to her return on Raw, Bayley last appeared on WWE programming when she was defeated by Lyra Valkyria on Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th. Stay tuned for updates.
