Almost immediately after WrestleMania 33, Vince McMahon made the announcement for the “Superstar Shake-up.” As a result, several roster moves were made to “freshen up” Raw and SmackDown Live’s rosters for the rest of the year following the show of shows.
It’s only been four month since then, but it’s being reported by Pro Wrestling Unlimited that Vince McMahon feels that WWE television has already gotten a little bit stale and wants to do another “Shake-up” later this year to keep the product fresh heading into WrestleMania 34.
Since Summerslam is another big milestone on the WWE calendar, there is some speculation for the next “Superstar Shake-up” to take place shortly after Summerslam, but WWE officials may decide to wait to change up the rosters again until after Survivor Series this November.
A lot of people believe it’s too soon after the last set of major roster changes to do another, but Vince McMahon tends to get what he wants. It’s unclear what big changes he may have in mind. For now, all WWE fans can do is speculate about potential roster moves to come.
