Sasha Banks is one of the most popular stars in the Raw women’s division, and despite how she’s been booked as of late, she still has plenty of supporters in the professional wrestling industry, and one of those supporters happens to be WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The former Raw Women’s Champion was recently a guest on the Champs Sports show Her Take, and she was asked to choose between The Rock and Steve Austin. Sasha chose Steve Austin because he slid into her DMs one time to praise her performance in a match.
“I love both, but I’m gonna have to choose Stone Cold Steve Austin, just because he slid into my DMs one time. And when he did he just was saying like how good a match was and I just remember freaking out.”
Sasha is a part of WWE’s Four Horsewomen along with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley, and she was also asked about the bond that they share. Banks said that their chemistry helped them put on great performances inside the ring, and they all hit each other harder because they were close, and they knew they could take it.
“I remember being with Bayley, Charlotte, and Becky at NXT and we just pushed each other. Every time we wanted a match we wanted to outshine the guys, having the fans like ‘they stole the show.’ That’s the best feeling in the world,”
