It’s no big secret that Roman Reigns isn’t exactly a fan favorite, despite the fact that WWE would like him to be. Ever since The Shield split up a few years ago, Roman Reigns has been getting pushed as a top guy, and he’s main evented the past 3 WrestleManias in a row.

All throughout Roman’s big push, the fans have resisted, and he’s been met with boos instead of cheers. This Monday fans saw an interesting sight on Raw when John Cena and Roman Reigns stood face to face in the middle of the ring, and the fans in attendance chanted “you both suck” at the two former WWE World Champions.

Sports Illustrated decided to dig a little deeper into the hate, and during SummerSlam week they interviewed various fans and asked them why they hate The Big Dog so much.

Some fans complained about Roman being shoved down their throats, while others complained about his skills on the mic and his moves inside the ring. You can see how it all went down in the video below.

Roman Reigns isn’t one to shy away from hate, so he directly responded to the video.

Reigns responded with a question as he asked if the kids watching the video want to be like him, or like the people in the video.

That’s a question that only the kids can answer, but it’s pretty clear that the adults that were featured in the video have no love for Roman.
