Roman Reigns has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now, but his road to the top was bumpy to say the least. In 2015 it was clear that WWE was trying to position Roman Reigns as the next guy, but he was booed by the Philadelphia fans when he won the 2015 Royal Rumble match.

CBS Sports obtained an exclusive clip from Roman’s upcoming episode of Biography: WWE Legends on A&E and in the clip The Tribal Chief explained how it felt to receive a negative reaction from the crowd during one of the biggest moments of his career.

“I was booed, historically. You think about these moments. You dream about them, and the moment that it actually happens, it’s like they’re playing the worst soundtrack of all time over your moment, ruining your party. That’s how the Rumble in Philly felt.”

Reigns went on to say that he tries to forget about the moment when he added, “I try to forget Philly. I try to forget the Royal Rumble,” Reigns said. “There’s only one positive, and that’s the fact that it’s going to be able to tie all the way back around at WrestleMania 40.”

The Roman Reigns episode of Biography: WWE Legends will premiere on Sunday, March 31 on A&E. As for Roman Reigns himself he will be teaming up with The Rock to face Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins during night one of WrestleMania 40, and he will be defending his title against Cody Rhodes during night two.
