In December of 2017, Paige finally made her return to Monday Night Raw as the leader of Absolution, and fans were happy to see her back in action.

Unfortunately her comeback was short-lived, because Paige suffered a career ending injury during a tag team match at a WWE live event not long after she returned.

Since then Paige has been on an interesting journey in WWE working as an on screen character, but she recently lost her position as SmackDown Live General Manager due to the McMahons taking back control of WWE.

This week Paige reflected on the one year anniversary of that fateful night in Uniondale on Twitter and noted that time has passed quickly. Luckily for Paige she seems to be in good spirits and she let fans know that she’s looking forward to the new year.

At this point it’s not clear what’s next for Paige when it comes to her role in WWE, but she’s expected to help with promotion for the upcoming film “Fighting With My Family.”

There’s also speculation that the former Divas Champion could end up working as an analyst on WWE kickoff show panels.
