This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live won’t be live at all as the show is set to air on New Year’s Day, and it was taped on Saturday night from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.
The main event of the show featured a Fatal 5 Way match which saw AJ Styles pick up a victory over Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe and Mustafa Ali.
AJ Styles pinned Randy Orton to earn a shot at Daniel Bryan, and The Phenomenal One will now go on to challenge Bryan for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble next month.
