There are a lot of rumors going around right now regarding Lilian Garcia’s WWE status. Yesterday former WWE writer Court Bauer said on his MLW Radio podcast that he was told by someone in WWE that Lilian had been released shortly before he started recording the podcast. He noted that since it wasn’t announced publicly it could be a situation where WWE is quietly letting her contract run out.
Now Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Garcia has not been released and she’s just been away taking care of her sick father who apparently has cancer. It’s also being reported that WWE fully approved Lilian’s emergency leave and that they’ve been checking in with her while she’s been away. It was noted that Lilian’s father is said to be doing much better.
Lilian Garcia has been off television for a few weeks now but she recently told fans on Twitter that she will be returning to work on Monday.
