It’s been a big year for Edge as he picked up a major victory at WrestleMania earlier this year and next week he’ll be celebrating his 25th anniversary with WWE. The Rated R Superstar will be celebrating his 25th anniversary in Toronto, and this week on SmackDown he made it clear that he wants it to be special.

Edge made his way down to the ring on Friday night and he praised Sheamus while explaining how he trained with The Celtic Warrior leading up to his return in 2020. The Hall of Famer proceeded to call out The Brawling Brutes. Sheamus and Edge then talked about their real life friendship and both exclaimed that they thought it was crazy they have never faced off one on one in the ring.

After going back and forth for a while Edge challenged Sheamus to a match in Toronto next week then told him that after the match they would drink scotch together. Sheamus said that if Edge replaces the scotch with a pint of Guinness then he’s got a deal.

Sheamus then shook Edge’s hand, but instead of letting go he pulled him in closer then said “just hope you didn’t make a mistake.” Edge smiled as they parted ways and the segment came to an end.
