Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have been feuding for most of 2017, and somehow they’ve managed to keep their feud entertaining and fresh. There’s no limit to what Reigns and Strowman will do in their attempts to destroy one another, and after two big spots involving an ambulance, it’s hard to imagine how they could dish out, or take any more punishment.
However, it seems that Braun Strowman has an idea in regards to how they can raise the stakes in their feud. Strowman recently appeared on the Cheap Heat Podcast, and he joked that the next time he clashes with Roman Reigns they might have to battle on top of a volcano.
“At this point, I mean, what else is there to do? I feel like the next match we’re going to have is going to be on top of a volcano, and the only way to win is to throw your opponent into the volcano.”
Hey, it might sound crazy, but let’s not forget that The Hardys did manage to find a way to fit a volcano into Total Nonstop Deletion last year.
In all seriousness though, Strowman had nothing but praise for his rival Roman Reigns, and he says not only that he trusts Roman, but that he may be the best in the ring right now.
“I solely trust my partner going out there, and especially the guy I’m working with, Roman. There’s not another talent on this planet like him. He is the best, if not the best in the ring, hands down. I know that he’s going to do the same thing that I do — he’s going to put his body on the line too. You’ve seen that. I’ll knock his hind end into the dirt, time after time, and he keeps getting back up. Whether it be stupidity, stubbornness or pure heart, you can’t argue that Roman is one tough SOB and entertaining, to say the least.”
You can see Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns collide once again Sunday night at SummerSlam when they both challenge for the Universal Championship in a fatal 4-way match that will also feature Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe.
