Solo Sikoa has been on the WWE main roster for years now, but he’s recently receiving a lot of recognition since parting ways with the MFTs and turning face.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that a source within WWE creative had significant praise for the recent work of Solo Sikoa, and pointed to the natural charisma that Solo has put on display behind the scenes for years.
One talent also said that Solo Sikoa is one of the funniest WWE stars being the scenes, and they’re thrilled that the former United States Champion is getting the chance to show off his personality on TV.
It’s also being reported that Solo’s run as a babyface was originally expected to be a short term deal. However, there is now speculation internally that those plans could be reconsidered based on how Solo has been received over the last few weeks.
Solo will be stepping into the ring this weekend as he’s currently set to team up with Royce Keys & LA Knight to face the team of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu at SummerSlam.
