SummerSlam is set to air live across two nights at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota this weekend and Brock Lesnar will be stepping into the ring when he faces off against Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell.

This will be Brock’s third encounter with Femi as they first locked up at WrestleMania 42 when The Ruler defeated The Beast Incarnate in just over four minutes. After the match Brock Lesnar seemingly retired from in-ring competition, but he returned to WWE a few weeks later. With SummerSlam being in Minneapolis this year it’s long been rumored that Brock Lesnar could be hanging up his boots for good at WWE’s biggest party of the summer.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that the feeling within WWE is Brock Lesnar’s match at SummerSlam is not expected to be the final match of his career.

One source noted that they wouldn’t be surprised if Brock Lesnar stepped away from television for a while and returning to WWE programming in time for WrestleMania 43.

It’s being said that Lesnar always operates in a way that prevents his plans from leaking. If his match at SummerSlam is indeed his last then it is not something that is widely known or being discussed backstage.
