After weeks of anticipation the annual WWE SummerSlam premium live event is set to emanate from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota this weekend, and you never know who might show up.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that WWE has extended an invitation to Jesse Ventura to be in attendance at SummerSlam this weekend in Minneapolis.
It’s being said that the idea of WWE using Ventura on television, possibly during the pre-show, has been discussed. However, it is unclear at this point in time if Ventura will, or won’t be appearing on screen. The last time Jesse Ventura appeared on screen during a WWE show in his home state of Minnesota was in 1999 when he acted as the special guest referee for the Steve Austin vs. Mankind vs. Triple H triple threat match for the WWE Championship.
WWE SummerSlam will air live from US Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2. The current card for the show can be seen below.
