Dean Ambrose challenged Triple H for the WWE Championship at Roadblock but it was Triple H that walked out with the gold. The two had a hard hitting back and forth contest, and at one point it looked like Dean Ambrose had won the title. Ambrose hit Triple H with Dirty Deeds then got the three count. But the referee waved it off because Ambrose had his foot under the rope.

The two then battled to the outside and Ambrose placed Triple H on the announce table. He went for an elbow drop off the barricade but he was unsuccessful and he ended up dropping the elbow on an empty announce table.
