On Sunday night the stars of WWE rolled into North Charleston, South Carolina for an action packed live event. During the show Kevin Owens managed to pick up a big win over The Miz, but Owens was noticeably limping after the match and had to be helped to the back.
It’s not clear at this point if the former Universal Champion suffered a legitimate injury. However, it’s worth noting that during the match Owens was also limping, and he struggled to get his leg up for a superkick on Miz, then his knee seemingly gave out as he fell to the mat after hitting the move.

Kevin Owens made his big return to the ring at SummerSlam earlier this month when he won a fatal four way match at SummerSlam to become the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Unfortunately for Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn interfered in his big title match which resulted in CM Punk picking up the win.
As of last week’s episode of SmackDown, Kevin Owens was still very much involved in the Undisputed WWE Title picture. We’ll have to wait and see how things play out with Owens in the weeks to come.
Stay tuned for updates.
