The WWE premium live event schedule is loaded with big shows, but WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series have often been referred to as the big four. Over the last few years Survivor Series has been getting a lot of attention due to the addition of the WarGames matches, but WWE has yet to announce a location for the 2026 edition of the show.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that at one point in late 2025, WWE was exploring the idea of holding the Survivor Series premium live event in an international location. However, in recent months those plans have fallen through. One source believes that’s the reason why the company has yet to announce a location for the show.
It was also noted that Boston, Massachusetts made a push to host the show. The negotiations with Boston reportedly fell through when it came to the financials, similar to what happened with John Cena’s final match.
As of this writing there’s no update on where Survivor Series will be held this year, but an announcement is expected to be made before the SummerSlam premium live event in a few weeks.
