There’s been a lot of movement in the wrestling world over the last few years and a number of AEW stars have made the jump to WWE. In recent weeks there had been a lot of talk about Jack Perry’s contract status, but ultimately it was confirmed this week that he had re-signed with All Elite Wrestling.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there were little to no discussions on the WWE side about trying to sign Jack Perry if he were to enter free agency.
Sources indicated that there was never much of an appetite when it came to bringing Jack Perry into the company. It’s being said that the prevailing feeling was that he didn’t fit into WWE’s landscape, and was never viewed as a realistic target.
Jack Perry infamously got into a physical altercation with current Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk at the AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London back in 2023.
Originally Jack Perry signed with AEW in 2019 and since then he’s become a one time TNT Champion, one time AEW National Champion, and a one time AEW Tag Team Champion.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
