WrestleMania season is only a few months away and next year the Show of Shows is set to emanate from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever. In recent months there’s been a lot of talk about potential backup locations due to the ongoing conflict in Saudi Arabia with the Sphere in Las Vegas being one of the rumored locations.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that as of this writing the Sphere in Las Vegas is not the backup plan for the WrestleMania 43 location if WWE ends up having to move the show away from Saudi Arabia.
It was noted that although WWE has expressed interest in using the Sphere, meaningful conversations between the two sides have not transpired. Fightful Select reported back in March that WWE and the Sphere could not come to an agreement when it came to putting Danhausen promotional material on the exterior of the venue for WrestleMania 42.
According to the report WWE does indeed have a backup blueprint in the event that they have to host WrestleMania 43 domestically. However, it’s being said that the details regarding the company’s plan are being kept secret.
Recently it was reported that WWE already has plans for at least one of the WrestleMania 43 main events, and you can get more details on that here.
