Bobby Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 on Saturday night, and this week on Raw a celebration was scheduled for the WWE Champion.
MVP made his way to the ring for Bobby Lashley’s celebration, but he was interrupted by Drew McIntyre who made it clear that he still wants a shot at the title. Braun Strowman then interrupted and pleaded his case for a title shot.
Randy Orton then made his way into the ThunderDome and explained that he’s done with The Fiend and Alexa Bliss, and now he’s focused on winning the WWE Title.
Adam Pearce then came out and made a triple threat match for the main event with the winner earning a title shot at WrestleMania Backlash.
All three men faced off in the main event of Raw, and the finish came when Randy Orton hit Braun Strowman with the RKO, and Drew McIntyre followed up by hitting Randy with the Claymore as he was pinning Strowman. McIntyre then pinned Orton to win the match and earn a title shot.
After the match Drew McIntyre was celebrating, and a graphic for The Hurt Business flashed on the screen. MVP then made his entrance into the ThunderDome. As Drew was staring at MVP, former RETRIBUTION members T-BAR and Mace attacked Drew McIntyre as MVP looked on to end the show.
