The last few months have been a difficult time for the professional wrestling business due to the coronavirus pandemic, and WWE recently had to release a number of talents due to budget cuts.
Naturally following the releases talk of who may or may not get picked up by AEW started almost immediately.
However, fans shouldn’t expect to see Heath Slater in All Elite Wrestling.
During a recent Q&A session on Instagram Cody was asked about possibly signing Heath and he said, “Nope! No on Heath Slater.”
At this point there’s no telling who might get signed by AEW, as the company is also in a unique position due to the pandemic, and the released stars are also waiting for non-compete clauses to expire.
However, it’s been teased that The Revival could be AEW bound, and Cody Rhodes recently took to social media to praise Zack Ryder.
