It’s an exciting time to be a WWE fan as the company has signed some interesting names in recent months. Penta made his big debut with WWE back in January, and he’s quickly become one of the top stars on the Monday Night Raw brand. While Penta has been excelling in singles competition it seems that he will likely be heading to the tag team division sooner than later.
During a recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio it was noted that the belief is a deal between Rey Fenix and WWE has either been agreed to, or is close to being completed. The expectation is that Penta and Fenix will reunite and work together as the Lucha Bros.
“According to sources, the impending debut of Rey Fenix is indeed happening as his name has begun to resurface on marketing documents once again. That source confirms that a deal between Fenix and the company has either been agreed to in principle or is on the verge of completion as of this writing.
“We’re told WWE never had any indications Rey Fenix wouldn’t be joining as it was ‘just a matter of time.’ We can also confirm WWE is planning on presenting the team of Penta and Fenix as the Lucha Brothers.”
Penta will be in action on Monday Night Raw next week as he’s currently set to go one on one with Ludwig Kaiser in a No Holds Barred match. Stay tuned for updates.
