Recently there’s been a lot of talk about WWE contracts as of late as R-Truth, Carlito and Sarah Logan all confirmed earlier this week that WWE will not be renewing their deals when they expire.
Fightful Select is reporting that Karrion Kross is in a contract year and his current deal is set to expire this summer. According to the report WWE has not yet approached Kross about a contract extension or renewal. There’s also no word on whether or not WWE has indicated interest in doing so.
Typically when WWE decides not to renew a deal they have notified talent within a month or so ahead of the deal’s expiration. More recently WWE has been happy to keep talent on television until they’re notified that their deal won’t be renewed. At this point in time the belief is that there are a few months left on Karrion Kross’ deal.
Karrion Kross originally signed with WWE in 2020, but was released from the company in 2021. Kross made his big return to WWE in 2022. In recent weeks he has been competing on WWE Main Event.
