payback

WWE Payback is quickly approaching, and the show is already loaded up with title matches. Randy Orton will be facing Bray Wyatt in a “House of Horrors” match at the pay-per-view, but it looks like the WWE Title may not be on the line at the event.

Randy Orton is the current WWE Champion, but the official match listing on WWE.com makes no mention of the title being on the line in the “House of Horrors” match at Payback. Although the match was originally advertised as a title match, it looks like WWE officials may have changed their mind.

This week on SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal won a six-pack challenge and he earned the right to challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Backlash. It appears that the belt will be staying on the blue brand.

The “House of Horrors” match is expected to be the conclusion of Bray Wyatt’s feud with Randy Orton, as they’re both on different brands now.
