Batista recently confirmed that WWE reached out to him about possibly teaming up with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34, but the company eventually dropped the idea and went with Kurt Angle instead.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has said that he would like to have one more meaningful run before he hangs up his boots, but in the meantime he’s been keeping busy with his film career.
Batista has established himself as Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Drax is a key player in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
“Infinity War” recently hit theaters and the movie had the biggest opening weekend of all time. Following the success at the box office, Vince McMahon took to Twitter to congratulate Batista and the entire cast and crew.
