The WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event aired from Montreal on Saturday night and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. After the the event Triple H spoke to the media and during the press conference Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics asked Triple H to share his thoughts on a possible WWE sale.
The Game said that he didn’t want to give a cop out answer, but said that he’s staying out of it while emphasizing that he’s focused on his role as Chief Content Officer at the moment.
“Depends on who is buying, I suppose. What the offer is, what the outcome is. Stay out of it, to me. That’s not a cop-out answer. I have the greatest gig in the world. I helped tonight, in some small way, create the magic we did here tonight. To me, it’s the best gig on the planet. As long we get to do this, as long as we get to create the way we get to create it, as long as we get to do our jobs and we get to go out there and put our passion on display, as long as our talent are allowed to put their passion on display and do what we do, I’m good. It is what it is.”
It was recently reported by Bloomberg that Vince McMahon is looking to sell WWE for $9 billion dollars. WWE CEO Nick Khan spoke on a potential sale earlier this month and noted that he expect the company could be sold in 3 months. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
