Roman Reigns has been one of the top stars in WWE for many years now and he’s main evented WrestleMania numerous times. As of this writing Roman’s match for the show hasn’t been officially announced, but it has been a hot topic over the last few months.
The former Undisputed WWE Champion last appeared on TV when he entered the Royal Rumble match earlier this month. After Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were eliminated by CM Punk, Seth Rollins took it upon himself to stomp Roman into the floor, then he delivered another stomp to The Tribal Chief on the steel ring steps.
Seth Rollins recently addressed his heated altercation with Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble during an appearance on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, and he claimed that Roman’s status for WrestleMania is unclear.
“You mentioned me stomping Roman’s head at the Rumble. We don’t know where his WrestleMania status is going to be. I don’t know when he’s going to come back. He’s on a limited schedule as it is. So we’ll see what kind of deal he wants to work out.”
Recently it’s been rumored that WWE could be moving forward with a Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk match at WrestleMania 41. However, plans can, and often do change on the road to WrestleMania, so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out in the weeks to come.
