When Coach asked Goldberg who he would want to face if he returned to the ring, Goldberg mentioned Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman later responded to the interview by telling Goldberg not to confuse the fantasy of WWE 2K17 with reality.

Paul Heyman made his way to the ring on Raw, and he hyped up the fact that Brock Lesnar is on the cover of WWE 2K17, he then showed off a clip of gameplay footage featuring Lesnar fighting Goldberg. Heyman talked about Goldberg’s career and how dominant he was. He told the crowd that Goldberg is one up on Brock, and that keeps him up at night.

Heyman then told the fans that he’s been authorized to let the world know that Brock Lesnar is challenging Goldberg to a fight. The crowd chanted loudly for Goldberg. Heyman did not specify when the match would take place, but it’s been rumored that WWE has plans for Brock Lesnar to face Goldberg at Survivor Series.

The ball is now in Goldberg’s court, and it’s up to him to respond to the challenge.
