There’s certainly no shortage of wrestling shows for fans to watch nowadays and it looks like yet another wrestling company has landed a TV deal. Haus of Wrestling is now reporting that NWA has signed a deal with The CW.

According to the report the deal will bring NWA Powerr and a reality TV show about the day-to-day, behind-the-scenes aspect of the NWA to The CW. NWA Powerr is currently expected to arrive on The CW before the reality TV and an announcement should be coming relatively soon.

It’s not clear at this point in time if NWA Powerr will be a one hour, or two hour show, but the belief is that it won’t be live as the company will tape the show in blocks similar to what Impact Wrestling does for their show on AXS TV.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Billy Corgan talked a little bit about the TV deal while stating that 2024 is looking like a bright year for the NWA.

“I can now say for the first time, and I have to be a bit vague because there’s some other political aspects to this. I can now say that we finally have signed not just one, but two television deals. And that announcement as far as where and who will be coming soon, but we finally now will be able to move off YouTube, not exclusively, because we want to still do stuff on YouTube. But we now will be moving with a network partner.”

“I can’t say who, but I can say it’s a top 20 network, and I’m very excited. I’ve been working on this for over a year, and like I said, not just one but two television deals are involved. Two totally different wrestling-related products that we’ll be offering. So 2024 is looking very, very bright.”
