We previously reported The New Day are expected back on the road in early June. But they might be appearing even sooner than that.

Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston are all three being advertised for the SmackDown live show on May 27th in Knoxville, Tennessee. They’re also being advertised for the May 28th show in Chattanooga.

It’s been a while since we last saw the Brothers Booty in the ring. The Revival took Kofi out with the sweet figure-four/top rope stomp combo they do. It was a short time later when Dash Wilder suffered a broken jaw that took The Revival out of action too. Karma is a cruel mistress.

Of course, New Day could always make some kind of appearance before the 27th, but that looks like the first time they’re officially being advertised to appear in a WWE ring. So don’t you dare be sour, because The New Day will be back before you can say “magical unicorns!”

When Tommaso Ciampa assaulted Johnny Gargano after their ladder match at TakeOver: Chicago it ruffled more than a few feathers. We weren’t too surprised though because we saw it coming. But there were a ton of fans who were emotionally wounded by #DIY’s break up.

Prayer circles formed outside the All State Arena and fans all over were shocked. Tommaso recently commented on why he stabbed his long-time partner in the back by saying it was his moment.

Ciampa makes a great heel and now he gets his chance to prove it to the NXT Universe. As sad as Team DIY’s sudden break-up might be, it only spells the beginning of something more for Gargano and Ciampa in NXT.

Now, these two guys can battle each other. As evidence from the Cruiserweight Classic this summer, they can put on one heck of a match against each other. Awesome things are on the horizon for the former members of #DIY. Stay tuned, my friends.
