Business has certainly picked up for NXT as of late and this week two episodes of the show were taped. During the tapings for next week’s show Noam Dar defended the NXT Heritage Cup against Chad Gable, and Lyra Valkyria defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Xia Li.
According to PWInsider no titles changed hands during the tapings as Noam Dar retained the NXT Heritage Cup while Lyra Valkyria also retained the NXT Women’s Championship. Full spoilers for next week’s episode can be seen below (via PWInsider).
– Los Lotharios (Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo) defeated Malik Blade and Edris Enofe
– Josh Briggs defeated Carmelo Hayes in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match after Lexis King interfered
– Wes Lee came our for a promo. Dominik Mysterio also made his way out to announce that next week a match will take place and the winner will go on to challenge for the North American Championship at Deadline.
– Blair Davenport defeated Thea Hail (with Jacy Jane) in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match
– Eddy Thorpe defeated Charlie Dempsey (with Drew Gulak and Myles Borne)
– Noam Dar (with Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson) retained the NXT Heritage Cup over Chad Gable (with Akira Tozawa, Otis, and Maxxine Dupri)
– Lyra Valkyria retained the NXT Women’s Championship over Xia Li
