SummerSlam is one of WWE’s biggest annual shows and this year the event emanated from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While the location for the 2027 SummerSlam PLE has yet to be announced, it sounds like WWE has already decided on a location for the 2029 edition of the event.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that the 2029 SummerSlam premium live event is set for Indianapolis, Indiana according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
The report notes that when WWE and the Indiana Sports Corporation finalized their agreement for premium live events in 2024, a future SummerSlam was included as part of the package.
Last year SummerSlam expanded in a major way as a second night was added to the show, and the WWE continued with the two night format this year. The most recent SummerSlam featured some big moments as Brock Lesnar faced off against Oba Femi in what was apparently his last match as The Beast Incarnate confirmed earlier this week that he is now retired.
