This week the build for the Elimination Chamber premium live event started on Raw with two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. CM Punk picked up a win over Sami Zayn to qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber match and Liv Morgan scored a victory over Iyo Sky.
While CM Punk’s win was decisive due to the fact that he pinned Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan won her match by disqualification after Rhea Ripley interfered and attacked her.
Some people were not happy with the way that things played out during the match, but Liv Morgan recently addressed the backlash on social media when she posted the following:
“Laughing at you pathetic dummies not understanding how wrestling works
For those confused… a participant can touch a non participant, but a non participant cannot touch a participant because THAT is a disqualification.
I’m brilliant & Rhea Ripley is an idiot
Hahahahahah cry about it losers
#eLIVinationChamber”

After the match Rhea Ripley tried to apologize to Iyo Sky, but Iyo was clearly unhappy about the fact that Rhea interfered. There are still five open spots for the women’s Elimination Chamber match, so it will be interesting to see who qualifies in the weeks to come.
