Ever since Kurt Angle was announced for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame the idea of him wrestling for the organization hasn’t cooled down at all. Cagesideseats notes that there is still talk of him wrestling for the company, even as early as the Royal Rumble. Word is going around that he very well might be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match.
Oddshark currently lists Angle at +1600 betting odds to win the match. Although these are low odds, he is still apparently more likely to win the Royal Rumble than other current top names on the active WWE roster including Dean Ambrose (+2000), Roman Reigns (+2500), Sami Zayn (+2500), Big Cass (+5000), and many more.
Even though he isn’t currently signed with the company and it seems that every other day more news comes out which makes his debut even less likely, Kenny Omega is currently listed at +3300 betting odds. These are pretty low odds, but they are still higher than Shinsuke Nakamura’s odds of winning. Nakamura’s odds of winning the match is currently setting at +5000 odds.
There are also rumors floating around that fans should expect Brock Lesnar to do more in the future on Raw than show up just to do an F5 or stand in the shadows during a Paul Heyman monologue. Word going around is that Brock may actually start wrestling matches on the live Monday night broadcasts in the near future.
