There’s no denying that John Cena has been one of the most successful WWE stars of all time. Cena has done just about all there is to do in WWE, and he took his career to a whole new level when he finally turned heel at Elimination Chamber.

John Cena has been a babyface for the vast majority of his run with WWE and the face role has served him well. Over the years John Cena has granted over 650 wishes, and he currently holds the Guinness World Record for most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Now it seems that John Cena has set another record following his big heel turn.

Guinness World Records officially confirmed that John Cena now holds the record for longest WWE face run before turning heel when the following announcement was posted:

“Cena’s impact on WWE is further magnified by a remarkable Guinness World Records title. He holds the record for the longest WWE Face run before turning heel, a distinction that speaks to the sheer length of his tenure as the company’s go-to good guy. For over a decade, Cena was WWE’s figurehead, standing tall as the ultimate face of the promotion.

While many wrestlers have held the top spot for periods of time, none have maintained such a prolonged and consistent run in the role of the all-American, never-back-down hero quite like Cena.”

John Cena is currently set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, and he’s being advertised for upcoming episodes of Raw on March 17, 24 and 31. Cena is also being advertised for a few post-WrestleMania episodes of SmackDown and you can get more on that here.
