It looks like a former WWE superstar could be locked away for a long time as PWInsider is reporting that Charles Scaggs, better known to wrestling fans as 2 Cold Scorpio, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to assault – second degree as well as armed criminal action.

The report notes that the court also ruled Scaggs had no criminal history prior to his arrest, and he has an immediate chance to earn probation after completing an intensive 120 day program.

In the state of Missouri a defendant can be sent to a DOC facility to complete an intensive, boot camp like program which is designed to “shock” the offender. After the program is completed the DOC submits a report to the court on the defendant’s conduct and progress. The court can then decide if they want to grant probation and release Charles Scaggs as they allow him to serve the rest of his term under supervision. An update on his status is expected in early 2027.

Scaggs was originally arrested in June of 2024 following a physical altercation with a man at a Love’s Travel Stop where he happened to work as a security guard. A physical incident ensued when Scaggs told the man to put out a lit cigarette after he entered the building. The man claimed that he thought it was out, but admitted that it may not have been fully extinguished.

At the time TMZ reported, “During the scuffle, Scaggs told authorities he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the guy in self-defense. The wrestler said the altercation went on for several more moments — and in the squabble, he got in a few more stabs too. Cops say when they arrived on the scene, they found the guy who was stabbed lying on the ground … bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen. They added that he was transported to a local hospital … as he was going in and out of consciousness. According to the docs, though, investigators were able to make contact with him at the medical facility later in the day … where they say he told them Scaggs was the aggressor in the situation.”

Ahead of a scheduled trial the two sides agreed to a plea deal, but Scaggs was caught brandishing a firearm on video, and the video was sent to prosecutors. He was taken into custody on 9/17, and put in jail after prosecutors filed a motion seeking to revoke his bond. Scaggs admitted that he was in violation of his bond when he brandished the firearm. At the time the court records noted that the, “Court finds and believes Defendant to be clearly in violation of his bond conditions, and that said violation is a danger to public safety.”

Stay tuned for updates.
