Seth Rollins has had a consistent presence on WWE programming for well over a decade now, but it’s been a while since fans have seen The Visionary on TV. Rollins made his last televised appearance back in August when he challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, and he’s been off TV ever since.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Seth Rollins has what was called a minor injury, so they are giving him time to heal up. However, it was noted that Rollins could be back soon, and the idea is to bring him back for maximum input when the time is right.
Despite his absence from television Seth Rollins did return to the ring last month as he wrestled in several matches during WWE’s tour of South America when he teamed with LA Knight & Solo Sikoa in six man tag team matches against The Bloodline.
Specific details regarding his injury are unknown, but apparently it won’t be keeping Seth out of the ring as he’s currently being advertised for a dark match at tonight’s SmackDown tapings. The Cajundome recently announced that Seth Rollins is set to team with Solo Sikoa & LA Knight to take on 946 at the event. However, the card is always subject to change.
Stay tuned for updates.
