This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from Hartford, CT and the show featured a special edition of Miz TV with Cody Rhodes as the guest. The show also featured some surprise guests as Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley made their way down to the ring.

Rhea Ripley told Miz to stay quiet as she said “Dom Dom has something he’d like to say” then handed the microphone to Dominik Mysterio. Dominik Mysterio then proceeded to tell Cody Rhodes that he’s a bad father because he should be home taking care of his daughter. He told Cody that he’s just like Rey Mysterio, he’s a deadbeat dad.

Cody told Dominik that his match with Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania was more like a public spanking. The American Nightmare stared at Dominik and said he knows Rey has made some terrible mistakes because he’s looking at one.

Dominik and Rhea Ripley started to leave the ring, but then Dominik slapped Cody in the face and quickly retreated to stand behind Rhea. The SmackDown Women’s Champion taunted Cody as she tried to convince him to hit her, but he refused, so Dom and Rhea left.

It looks like Cody Rhodes could potentially be getting some backup, as Brandi Rhodes teased some potential involvement with Rhea Ripley when she posted the following on Twitter:

“Papa wont hit Mami… but Mommy will.”

Brandi Rhodes worked for WWE for years as a ring announcer, but she parted ways with the company just days after Cody did in 2016. Following her departure Brandi went on to work with Impact Wrestling and ROH before joining AEW in 2019. She parted ways with AEW in 2022 and has been a free agent ever since.
