This week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon pulled Braun Strowman from the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble after Strowman chased Baron Corbin backstage, then ripped the door off of a limo as he was trying to get to him.
Vince later booked a fatal 4 way match which saw John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Finn Balor all face off to determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar‘s championship.
After the match was booked, Jinder Mahal complained to Vince McMahon, so Vince told him to pick anyone from the fatal 4 way, and he could have their spot if he managed to defeat them in a match. Mahal picked Finn Balor, but lost the match, so Finn advanced to the main event.
The end of the main event came when Finn Balor hit the Coup de Grace on John Cena then pinned him to earn the title shot.
After the match, John Cena grabbed a mic and said that earlier in the night Finn Balor said Vince McMahon didn’t believe in him, but the people did.
Cena then told Finn that he’s a believer, and he hugged Finn then showed respect as the crowd cheered.
