Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42 after he was defeated by Oba Femi. However, he returned a few weeks later and he continued to feud with The Ruler through the summer.
Over the weekend Brock Lesnar stepped inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, and Oba Femi defeated Lesnar for the second time in his career. Following the match Lesnar told the fans that Oba Femi is the future, but he didn’t say anything about his future with WWE.
The former WWE Champion went on to clarify his status during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show when he officially announced that he has retired from in-ring competition.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that despite Brock Lesnar announcing his retirement on the Pat McAfee Show, there are high ranking officials in WWE who believe The Beast Incarnate will be involved with WrestleMania 43 in some capacity.
One source noted that if another match isn’t in the cards for Lesnar, the idea of him headlining the 2027 Hall of Fame class in Saudi Arabia is on the table. The same source also stated that they “can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia”.
