For weeks now rumors of Big Cass returning to WWE have been making the rounds as he recently finished up with AEW. This week on Monday Night Raw the return of Big Cass was finally confirmed.
During the show WWE aired a vignette showing the 7 foot superstar recalling how he was called “can’t miss” along with clips from his WWE career. The vignette flashed the date 8/3 which presumably means that Big Cass will be returning on the 8/3 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Big Cass originally signed with WWE in 2011 and went on to form a tag team with Enzo Amore. The two stars quickly became one of the most popular acts in NXT and their popularity carried over to the main roster when they were called up in 2016. Unfortunately for Big Cass came to an end when he was released in 2018.
Following his release from WWE, Big Cass started working the independent circuit and also worked with TNA Wrestling. He signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2022, but his contract with the company expired weeks ago.
It’s also been heavily rumored that Enzo Amore will be returning to WWE, but as of this writing WWE has yet to confirm Enzo’s return. Stay tuned for updates.
