Several title matches were announced for night 2 of SummerSlam and it was confirmed recently that Trick Williams would be defending his United States Championship against Baron Corbin who returned to WWE a few weeks ago.
Baron Corbin made his way out to the ring first then Lil Yachty walked out onto the stage. Yachty talked about Trick Williams and told the fans to make some noise as Trick’s music hit.
As soon as Trick got to the ring he attacked Baron Corbin and took control of the match early on. Trick grabbed a table from underneath the ring then Yachty helped him set it up at ringside.
Trick rushed at Corbin on the outside and Corbin hit him with Deep Six on the floor. Corbin got back in the ring as the referee started to count. Baron Corbin then went to the outside, threw Trick into the ring post and steps then rolled back in the ring himself. As Trick got back in the ring Baron Corbin pummeled him.
Corbin took control of the match and started yelling at fans in the crowd. Yachty got in Corbin’s face at ringside and Corbin shoved him into the barricade. Lil Yachty grabbed the Trick Stick and Corbin ran back into the ring.
Trick Williams got the upper hand with a few heel kicks. He connected with the Book End for a two count. Yachty hyped up the crowd on the outside and Corbin raked Trick’s eye. As the ref checked on Trick, Lil Yachty hit Corbin with the Trick Stick in the back. Trick followed up with a Death Valley Driver for a two count.
Corbin hit Trick with a big boot and went for End of Days, but Trick reversed it into a Trick Kick. Corbin kicked out at two. Trick went for the Trick Shot and Corbin dodged it. He grabbed the United States Championship belt, but Yachty grabbed it before Corbin could get back in the ring.
Baron and Yachty struggled on the apron and Corbin pushed Yachty off the apron to send him crashing through the table set up at ringside. As Trick and the ref were staring at Yachty, Corbin hit Trick Williams with the United States Championship followed by the End of Days to win the match.
