Travis Scott has been getting more and more involved with WWE recently as he accompanied Jey Uso during his entrance on the Raw premiere on Netflix, and he also provided the new theme song for the red brand.
On Saturday night John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber when he attacked Cody Rhodes after winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match. Scott found himself involved in a major angle as he helped Cena and The Rock take The American Nightmare out. Scott then left the ring with The Rock and John Cena as Elimination Chamber went off the air.
Fightful Select noted back in January that WWE was expecting to do more with Travis Scott, and the belief is that it goes deeper than that. It’s being said that most in the company didn’t know that Travis Scott would be involved in the Cena heel turn as of then, but the word going around in mid-January was that he would be involved in a “major angle.”
The Rock was asked about Travis Scott wrestling during the Elimination Chamber post-show press conference, and he indicated it’s a possibility. According to Fightful Select, Scott has been training, and one source noted that he was training at a WWE legend’s wrestling school.
There have been discussions about Travis Scott working matches in the future, but as of right now there’s no word on they might end up happening.
