The Rock has played a big role on the road to WrestleMania as The Great One has been making regular appearances on Friday Night SmackDown in recent weeks. The Great One has been pushing the envelope on Friday nights with his promos, but it seems that FOX is well aware of what he’s going to say ahead of time.

Dave Meltzer recently claimed on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Rock can say whatever he wants during his promos because FOX is given a script ahead of time so that they know what to bleep out.

“The deal with the TV, what they have to do is, FOX gets the script ahead of time so they know when to bleep. Because the whole thing, the Rock promo, obviously it’s completely scripted.

“If it was anyone else, they would just be not allowed to say it, but with The Rock, it’s like, he can say whatever he wants, but they know what he’s gonna say and when he’s gonna say it, so anything they wanna bleep out, they will bleep out.

“And they know when to bleep it out because they’re told ahead of time. “So that’s kind of the gist of the promo and why certain things were bleeped out and everything like that, and they didn’t miss on anything.”

The Rock is currently scheduled to team up with Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes during night 1 of WrestleMania 40. As of right now it doesn’t look like The Rock will be appearing on SmackDown this week as he’s not advertised for the show, but it’s been confirmed that Roman Reigns will be returning on Friday.
