The WWE Draft is set to kick off on Friday Night SmackDown, and the company recently released a list of Superstars who are eligible to be drafted tonight.
Drew McIntyre is currently on Raw, and he’s holding the WWE Championship, while Roman Reigns is the top star on SmackDown with the Universal Championship. However, both men are eligible to be drafted tonight.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre are expected to be put on different brands.
It’s also possible that they could end up on the same brand, and that WWE will quickly switch one of the world titles.
It was also noted that Roman Reigns losing the Universal Title right now would be a bad idea, but Drew McIntyre dropping the WWE Championship to Randy Orton is very much in play.
