Nobody likes an injury, especially when it happens to one of your favorite superstars. There are a few teams in the WWE Universe we’re rooting for but The Revival might be on the top of that list.
But this team of Top Guys might be cursed in a sense. Dash Wilder went out for a while right after they made their main roster debut because of a broken jaw from Shinsuke Nakamura. It was a pretty miserable time for Wilder because he had to be very creative with his eating habits as well as work out with care.
But since Wilder came back from injury it appeared as though The Revival were getting another chance to show what they could do. They were rumored to be part of a match for SummerSlam against The Hardys and The Club to determine a new #1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Championships and everything seemed to be sailing along just fine.
But of course, nothing gold can stay because Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting Scott Dawson has suffered some kind of an injury. It is believed to be a bicep injury and could require surgery. With this news that #1 contender tag match for SummerSlam might be in question too.
Reports are if it is left to heal on its own Scott could be good to go within six weeks. However they are apparently throwing around surgery options therefore that could keep him out of action for up to six months. That’s a huge difference there.
Let’s hope Dawson doesn’t require surgery because The Revival probably couldn’t handle being out of action that long. Besides, what would they do with Dash Wilder in the meantime?
Dawson still worked the WWE live show on Saturday but his arm was heavily taped up. It is unknown exactly when this injury took place but we’re holding our breath for a speedy recovery for Scott.
